Culture QotD: Walk & Chew Gum

The first thing a doctor would tell you is to give up caffeine. Caffeine can take up to 12 hours to get out of your system, and some are more sensitive to it, like me. We drank a lot of iced tea growing up. I don't think it ever occurred to my mother that it bothered me. But I lay in bed every night for about two hours trying to fall asleep. I usually nodded off in class. It's a strong enough memory that I know it must've gone on for years.

Also, I think yoga two or three times a week really helps.

Or you could join the military. They can fall asleep anywhere.
Thanks for the tips. I went years without drinking any caffeine and it made no difference. Now I have the odd can of diet teeth-rotter and I'm no worse. I always drink it fairly early in the day though.
And I do practice yoga most days. When I was on my yoga holiday in Nov I thought I'd sleep for ages being so relaxed but I actually slept less. I took a while to get to sleep and woke up early but I think I was getting a better quality of sleep which made all the difference.
I guess that leaves the army...
I've heard that intelligent people need less sleep.... :) Let's go with that!
